Great welcome at 10.30pm. Great welcome in bar and great service in the bar. Room comfortable and clean. Easy online checkout. As usual, the pick-up shuttle was efficient and the drivers are super helpful.

Two minor issues that I mentioned to the checkout staff. Some mold in the shower caulk and the Sky remote batteries were dead. Otherwise the room was great as was the breakfast

Beware of Parking Costs!

Read the small print before booking. They charge £30 p/night to park your car when you are a guest. It reads on hotels.com that this is chargeable if leaving your car when away on holiday. I think this is a disgrace when you are a paying guest for a single night and will never book a Clayton again.

Cheap stay but room was very substandard

Good checkin, room was hot and noise. One side of the bed angled you almost out of bed. Toilet didn’t flush properly, shampoo bottle was stuck. Rib eye steak came with no steak knife and was very fatty and tasteless, sea bass was o.k but chickpea and tomato’s tastes tinned.
