Book Mammoth Cave hotels

This little cabin worked quite well for our needs. It was clean, and had just the right amenities to relax with after a couple days of hiking/exploring the caves. We enjoyed the hot tub twice (it’s inflatable), and the TV/wifi worked great. Mammoth Cave National Park was about a 35min drive, no biggie. Check out was super quick and easy. Our only “issue” wasn’t with the cabin, but with the local cats and dogs. Our first night there, we struggled to get inside the cabin without letting one of two very eager cats in. Every morning and night the other cat would beg for our attention, waiting for us to open the door. When driving away each day, one local dog would chase our van down (sometimes more joined in). The cat situation did calm down a bit once they realized we wouldn’t be feeding them, and my husband assured me I wouldn’t hit the dog. Other than that, the cabin itself was a positive experience!

Our stay was fantastic! Everything was beautiful. Very clean and well stocked. The host was responsive and helpful!

Whipsaw was quiet and back in the woods, which is just what we wanted. We would have loved to enjoy the beautiful porches more but the cool temperatures did not allow. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and crisp sheets and slept so good after long days of caving and exploring the area. The drive to cave tours was longer than we expected, but not terrible and a beautiful drive back through the national park or along the parkway. The home was moderately equipped -- would have appreciated a Keurig for convenience since only one of us was a coffee drinker. While the house was very clean, a quick swifter through hanging light fixtures and along tall ceilings to capture cobwebs and dust would be even better. All in all, we loved this home and location and would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful home with everything you could ask for - even goodies in a basket for that snack attack! Love the hot tub, home decor, comfy recliners and beds, and scenic views of Kentucky from the front porch! Hope to visit again. Thank you for a memorable time!

We had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather while staying at the Wilderness Drive VRBO home. The home was VERY clean and had everything we needed. I think the owners did a wonderful job with equipping the house all the way down to stay-at-home entertainment with an abundant selection of games in the game room. The view was awesome from the outside deck which made for a great time just chilling out with our great friends!! I would definitely recommend trying this place out!! Also, while it seemed like it was in a very secluded area, we were just minutes from some great eating places!!

The view was beautiful! I loved sitting on the wrap around deck and the glass walled room overlooking the woods and water. The furniture was all comfortable.Very peaceful! We didn’t see a car pass the house or hear any neighbors.
