I stayed in this apartment for 58 days and overall had a mixed experience. The best part of the stay was definitely the location — it’s close to everything, easy to get around, and made day‑to‑day life very convenient. For a long stay, being in such a central and walkable area was a real advantage.That said, several aspects of the apartment would benefit from meaningful updates. The bathroom, in particular, is in need of a complete renovation. The shower and sink look like they should have been replaced years ago, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up on its own. There was also a strong sewer smell in the bathroom unless the sink drain was kept closed at all times, which was unpleasant. The bath towels provided were very poor quality as well.The kitchen countertop surfaces are also worn to the point where it’s difficult for anyone to keep them looking clean, no matter how much effort they put in. These issues made the apartment feel more dated and less comfortable than expected for such a long stay.We toured five other properties — three of them in the same building — and all of those were upgraded to a 5‑star stay. The only things we didn’t like about those alternatives were the enclosed balconies and the smaller cooking spaces. Having a proper kitchen area is important for a long stay, which is why we chose this apartment. With some updates, this one could easily reach the same 5‑star level as the others.
