Every thing was as good as always. Since the refurbishment hotel now tries 4 star plus

The staff were all amazing, very welcoming and professional. The view is stunning, we got upgraded to a sea view suite and balcony was great. They left blankets as it gets a little chilly on early May nights. The breakfast was pleasant, we stayed 2 days and the items were different with great variety, thank you for that. The place is luxurious, but it needs updating specially the towels, they were worn out and didn’t belong to this beautiful place. Also the carpet and couches are outdated. That said the location and staff made it all ok in the end. I would definitely come back because of both. Very grateful for the upgrade and the suite was huge.

I had a very enjoyable 5 day stay at the hotel. The room allocated was spacious, clean, comfortable and had a lovely view. The room was cleaned every day. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. I used the gym each day and it was very good/ well equipped. The breakfast provided was very good with hot and cold options available. Plenty of choice. The hotel is well situated next to the main train station, the Tanger City Mall and the sea front. There are lots of dining out options in the vicinity. I would definitely consider this hotel again if I was returning to Tangier. Thank you.

The view from this hotel was unreal. The hotel was also nice enough to upgrade us to an ocean view room. The breakfast was unbelievably good. My husband also loved their massage. Oussama and Fatema went out of their way to help us plan for our day or make our stay memorable. However, the prices for food and taxis were inflated compared to what you would get outside. For example, the taxi price to Medina or the rail station was 100 dirham through the hotel. However, when we returned to the hotel from the medina, the taxi driver quoted 50 Dirham and settled for 30. The lunch and dinner prices were also around 50% less in nearby hotels or restaurants.

The reception area when you enter the Movenpick Hotel in Tangier is very impressive. My wife and I were greeted by the lovely concierge team and one of the team members in a full Moroccan outfit served us nice hot mint tea. The front desk member Faical was very kind and attentive and showed us our room which had a beautiful sea view. The hotel manager Mohamed was also very helpful throughout our stay and Manal at the reception also assisted my wife and I when we needed any help or advice on where to go for sightseeing and shopping. They were all a shining example of warm Moroccan hospitality. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of different food. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The bathrooms were also a good size. The rooms need some maintenance work and generally need to be updated as they are looking old and dated. The hotel is in a wonderful location with beach access. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to maintenance. There is also a very nice park/gardens across the road. Most small taxi rides from the hotel to the Centre Shopping Mall cost between 10-20 Dirhams. We stayed for 3 nights and had a good experience. Hopefully the management can start work on updating the rooms soon.
