Hotels.com only communicated to the hotel a single room, Not 2 different rooms. I showed them the confirmation I had from hotels.com (with two rooms) and they showed me their Expedia confirmation with only a single room. The hotel also informed me that they were sold out, I had to find another hotel last minute, as I had a dinner meeting 30 minutes later
