We had a great stay at this apartment. Nuria and Saray were great hosts and were helpful throughout. The property is great with an upstairs bed and kitchen and sofa downstairs. It was great for our family of 4. The location is fantastic close to the metro and easy walking distance to many key and fun sights

MH Apartments are good for a budget, but left some to be desired. They allow late check-in, but the process is done on an extremely slow computer in the lobby, which declined my credit card 3 times. I had to call customer service, who told me the card must have a PIN. Why would I be expected to use a debit card all of a sudden when it was not used or mentioned during the booking process? Who uses a debit card to pay for a hotel? Completely nonsensical, they should pay for a system that works. There was a fire alarm going throughout the entire building for nearly 2 hours. A deafening, high pitched sound. Guests had no idea what was going on & were not contacted. Upon calling customer service, was told “someone is coming to turn it off,” which did not happen for at least another hour. It was late November with temperatures in the 30sF, yet the thermostat was locked onto the cool setting. We could not have heat the entire stay, it was frigid in the apartment the whole time. I had to keep the towel rack on to frequently warm my hands up. As they are trying to teeter between short-term rental & hotel to reap the benefits of each, there is a front desk but never anyone at it to help. They do not provide housekeeping, yet they only supply 2 tiny trash bins in the kitchen, none in the bedrooms, & a small amount of towels & toilet paper. Also, the shower floods very easily, overflowing before it can drain. Positives - it was clean, it had outdoor views and a small balcony.

Great location (even with the renovation in the square). Metro station in front of the hotel. Two supermarkets next to the hotel. Room as shown in the photos. I only missed the change of towels and dish soap for the kitchen.

Clean and spacious. Short walks to most attractions. Metro is across the street. Two grocery stores right next to the hotel. As far as location goes, it is perfect. It is old town Madrid, so some noise would be expected.

terrible experience. I've submitted a claim for reimbursement. I was not able to stay in this property. the fire alarm went off for an extended period of time with no staff providing assistance, the check-in device was malfunctioning, the room look poorly cleaned and very different as it was shown online, extensive constructions was taking place across the street creating multiple inconveniences for access, noise, pollution. Extremely disappointed with this venue and its operators.

Clean and very spacious apartment room, larger than we expected. We were able to use the washing machine and drying rack with ease and they even provided a small welcome package with laundry detergent and dish soap for the kitchen. The bathroom was great and beds were a bit firm but not terrible.

When we arrived, the check-in experience was very uncomfortable. The woman at the reception desk was in the middle of an argument with a co-worker and didn’t acknowledge us for at least a minute. No greeting, no “welcome,” just a blunt “name” and a request for passports. Not a great first impression. The apartment looked nice at first glance, but the cleanliness issues quickly became obvious. There was visible mold all over the shower, and the washing machine—which was one of the main reasons we booked this place—had thick black mold inside. It was so bad you could wipe it with a tissue and it would come off black. We couldn’t use it at all. As an apartment-style hotel, it came with cups, glasses, and basic kitchen items, but the glasses had clear mouth prints on them from previous guests. Nothing had been properly washed, which was just totally unacceptable. Overall, the space felt dirty, which was really disappointing given the price. The layout, view, and surprisingly quiet atmosphere were the only positives. Unfortunately, based on the check-in experience and the level of cleanliness, we wouldn’t stay here again.

My stay was excellent! The staff were incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful. The APARTMENT was spotless and very comfortable. THERE ARE TWO SUPERMARKETS JUST DOWNSTAIRS — Highly recommended!. I WILL BE BACK.
