Madera Winery Accommodation

When we got to our room and went in the bathroom there was a 3 inch streak of poo on the toilet seat. Not a great start. I let the front desk know and all she said was "sorry". When you turn on the a/c unit a light stays on the whole time to show what the temp is but the light is bright enough to illuminate the room all night. I wish I had brought a sleep mask. It took 5 minutes of letting the water run before I got lukewarm water at the sink. It never got very hot and the handle was pretty hard to turn. It was definitely old plumbing.

The gym was small but efficient. The pool is fresh, the jacuzzi hot and both are in doors adjacent to each other.

The designs is very old and not make sense how use the bathroom door and also tbe sink water handle is hard to turn on and i am afraid if i pull too hard then it break! Also for the light is terrible when i get in the room i can't find light switch to turn on! Last worst of all i can't find plug in on wall it all hide behind the cabinet and night stand which is more ridiculous because it not customers friendly to use everything. Also they charged a deposit for the room which is more ridiculous again because the room itself outdated and very old items.Will i go again no thank! That hotel only have best positive reviews is they are very close to the airport!

Nice space and a comfortable stay for the most part. I did see a spider and a small flying insect in one bedroom and a roach in a drawer (seen right before checking out) in other room. The lighting in the kitchen, dining area and living room was not good.

It was great stay. Comfy bed and good location. Staff was very welcoming. Room was just what we needed, not too over the top but good bang for your buck. Would stay again.

Room was clean + pretty big in size, staff were all friendly, and super close to lots of restaurants/gas stations/stores (>5 min drive)
