For the price of $175 USD a night, it was not worth it. The room is a bit out dated with furnitures that’s falling apart. The shower was dirty and had a foul odor. The buffet has limited options . I did enjoy the food at the tavern just outside the property. Maho beach is beautiful, not recommended if you are traveling with kids. The staff at this resort lacks basic customer service skills, came off as a bit rude with the exception of the waitress, Stacey. The drinks are watered down. Overall a beautiful country, I just wouldn’t stay at this resort again.

This property is family oriented with easy access to all areas. Food is superiorly tasty and the beaches with view is awesome. The staff is very polite and helpful. Rooms are well kept. The buffet is an immaculate one with its varieties. My stay was an excellent one.

First and foremost NEVER BOOK A RIDE $75 FROM EXPEDIA TO THE HOTEL Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa. You can catch a ride with locals for $5. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ALL INCLUSIVE ADULTS ONLY. THAT'S ONLY ACCESS TO THE 9TH AND 10TH FLOOR. MEANING THAT IF YOU'RE LEAVE THE 9TH OR 10TH YOU ARE NO LONGER CONSIDERED HAVING ADULTS ONLY ACCESS. BOTH POOLS ARE KID FRIENDLY. THEY HAVE SOME OF THE POOL ROPE OFF FOR THE KIDS TO SLIDE IN THE POOL AND ONE SWIM UP BAR. THEY ONLY HAVE ONE ADULTS ONLY CLUB LOCATED ON THE 9TH FLOOR. THE BUFFET HAS THE BEST FOOD ALSO BECAUSE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT MENU DURING THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS THERE FOR FOUR NIGHTS. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TWO ELEVATORS THAT WAS FOR THE 9TH AND 10TH ONLY. The first room, they tried to check me into reeked with the smell of mold and sewage. I had to get a different room. There was also mold in the shower and other areas of that room as well. Luckily, I was only spending one night. I used to stay there all the time, but over the last few years it has gone downhill

The resort is in the most spectacular location ever with a beautiful beach and 3 min walk from the plane spotting experience at Maho Beach as well. The hotel itself had a good food and drinks, however we were a little disappointed with the service from some staff. The best people were at the pool bar.

When we did the pre check in we were told we would get notified when our room was ready. We received notification to proceed directly to desk upon arrival as our room would be ready. It was not ready until after 3: . Not a big deal. The property itself is very pretty. Most of the staff seemed like you were bothering them, whether it was ordering a drink or sitting down to eat, it was like we were inconveniencing them , yet we left over $400 in tips throughout our 5 day stay even though tips were included. There were some very lovely people though, Jane at breakfast was a standout. Also, a lot of the guests, maybe because they were frustrated by what I just explained or because they’re just flat out rude, were terrible to the staff. So maybe that’s why the staff isn’t so excited or enthusiastic to help. Either way unfortunately it’s the business. The Italian restaurant was our best experience staff and food wise. Oh and our view was literally on a roof. Literally on a roof. Worst view I’ve ever had in any hotel, and the resort was clearly not booked.
