Sink broken causes injury

I ubered here all the way from the San Fernando valley the night before to ensure I made it to my much anticipated first meeting with my gym and life coach. Upon getting in the shower this morning I gently placed my hand on the edge of the sink to balance my hop over and sink completely disconnected from the wall causing me to sleep and fall, my hip took the fall hard, saving me from what could’ve been a bad head injury. This trip cost me $400 which is going down the drain cancelled my workout because I’m in excruciating pain.

The price is great and the harbor is beautiful with easy access to the harbor beach. There are restaurants in walking distance. A huge plus is the parking lot. We never had a hard time finding a spot in the parking lot and didn't have to park on the street. Our shower had some issues and didn't drain well. We talked to the front desk numerous times during our stay and they tried to fix it but were never successful. So showers had to be brief. But the price and easy parking made it a great place to stay. We would definitely go back.

The accommodation was more like a hostel than a hotel. Everything in our room was old and shabby and needed replacing. The carpet was threadbare, the bathroom door was rotten at the bottom and had broken away, there had been something spilt up the back of the bathroom door and the hot water took forever to heat. There was no breakfast as described, just a poor cereal bar and a coffee machine which guests were expected to fill the water up themselves. We stayed at 9 different hotels on this holiday which were all a similar price, but this was by far the poorest. I would not recommend this hotel.

Rooms are loud and while they say they are renovated, they are terrible. Also, they never refunded the $50 hold. I had to call days later and they said they would refund it. They never did so I had to challenge it with my credit card company. It’s a scammy place. Not worth it

My first room, I walked in and it smelled like urine, very strong. Asked for a new room and the second room didn’t smell. However, it had its other issues. The room did not offer a secondary lock, the door was loose, and you could tell all the spackle that was used for hole fills and mold cover up. The bed sat so far off the floor had to jump a little to get on. The only great part of the room was the patio facing the harbor.

Great spot

The room was in desperate need of updating - the handle to the balcony literally fell off, and the bath/shower tap did too. But we just got on with it. Great harbour view. Breakfast wasn't great, but wasnt terrible. Good coffee available. Reception staff all very friendly and helpful.

Great Customer Service

It was a one night stay, at Foghorn, that is located on Mothers Beach in Marina del Rey. The view of the sunrise from our room was amazing and the people watching was fun. The Cheesecake Factory was right next door and offers a happy hour. The water was hot in the shower. Very relaxing.
