I stayed two nights in September. The hotel is about 45 minutes by train from Heathrow, no transfers, plus a ten minute walk. There are lots of restaurants and take out places near the hotel. The neighborhood isn’t dynamic and bustling but it is safe and is a good location to get to other places easily. It’s about a mile to walk to covent garden and Chinatown. A touch more to the west end theaters. 15 minute walk to the barbican Centre from there another 45 minutes to St. Paul’s cathedral and the Tower of London. If walking isn’t your jam, there are three lines at the Farringdon underground station as well as the national railway to get you anywhere else you want to go.
The hotel is as advertised. Clean and efficient with a friendly, funky vibe. The bar and restaurant are very comfortable. I didn’t eat there so don’t know about the food. Rooms are small - perfect for one person. Fine for two people who don’t bring a lot of baggage and are ok not having extra space to lounge. It was clean, modern, good towels, good air conditioning. It was a good spot for the few nights I was in London. I’d stay again.
