Nice hotel. Elevators need fixing

Lovely hotel but having only one elevator working is a real pain. I know they are going to have all 3 of them operational by end of may. 2 could be working whilst the other is being fixed/upgraded. Overall a lovely hotel. Lovely bar, breakfast too and ideally located close to Liverpool st station for access to airports. I will stay again.

Clean, modern, good area, nice staff…. Perfect if you’re a couple as the rooms are small, the bathroom not overly private, and the way the bed is situated if u have to pee at 3am you have to climb over your partner and wake their ass up. Also… fix the damned elevator. Good god. But they were pro. We’re generally pleased.

My only issue was the use of the iPad to access the TV. It didn't work for my room however, when we advised them they gave us a free drink each. Noone came to fix it but we didn't mind since we were too tired each night to watch it anyway.

Good stay, enjoy the stairs! No lift

We had a good stay over the weekend. Only downside was there was one working lift out of 3. Being on the 8th floor this was a nightmare as we waited a while for a lift to come that wasn’t full or when the lift did eventually come it would stop at every single floor. It’s fortunate that this lift didn’t break down as the hotel would have none! Rather poor that one of the other lifts wasn’t in working order for a city centre London hotel

I've stayed at CitizenM properties before and the vibe is unique, to say the least. This one in London's Shoreditch neigborhood was no exception. I was greeted immediately and warmly and that was the theme during my 2 night stay. The rooms are small, but comfortable and incredibly efficient. It was clean and accommodated my sleep/work needs more than adequately. My only complaint was that they were down 2 elevators. They did a great job informing me before my stay so I could have rebooked. However, it was only an inconvenience twice in 3 days of being at the property. Overall, i would stay there again for sure and recommend it to anyone that needs to be in that very vibrant working neighborhood in north London.
