On day the day our hotel stay was to commence (Friday 6/2.26) we had an emergency and our daughter was admitted to hospital. We contacted hotel that day and the following day ( Saturday 7th 2/26) to explain, hoping they would use their discretion ( as stated in terms) and not charge us. Eventually after waiting 35 minutes on phone an employee told us we would get charged for the stay even though we would be returning to stay in London the following month. Is this good customer service? Will it encourage me to book with this group of hotels again? Let’s hope someone with compassion contacts me to rectify the situation. No communication so far. Hope my disillusionment can be turned around.
