Life tip: Get up, stretch your legs, book a Costa Brava hotel, go to the airport, hop on a plane, never return. Or something to that effect. While it's pretty difficult to stay in the very centre, there is some accommodation not too far away. Take your pick of 7 hotels within 10 kilometres of Llado's heart.

If you're hoping to base yourself close to the central streets, the Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort and Rusticae Torre Laurentii are your best bets.

You might also like to try the Hotel Masferran, which is 30 kilometres away. Or otherwise you might prefer the Can Serola, just a distance of 14 kilometres from Llado. We'd also recommend the El Racó de Madremanya and the Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf. The first is 30 kilometres from downtown, while the second is 18 kilometres away.

Don't shoot through before you've gone to the Pont Fortificat and Placa Llibertat in Besalu. The L'Arcada de Fares and Comte Tallaferro are some of the long and short-stay options here. Or, you could consider staying in Santa Llogaia d'Àlguema, 12 kilometres to the east of Llado, where you'll find the Pirineos and Hotel Restaurant Ronda Figueres. If you're staying in Santa Llogaia d'Àlguema, make sure you visit the Dali Museum and the Museum of the Emporda.

Sitting 30 kilometres from Llado is Roses, a regional hub with a population of 20,000. It's home to some awesome attractions, like Aqua Brava, Roses Citadel and Roses Beach. Why not also explore Aquabrava and the Minigolf Greens? If you're keen to stay in Roses, have a squiz at the current deals at the Hotel Vistabella and Almadraba Park Hotel.

After being squished into a cabin seat all night, a seriously cosy bed at the Salles Hotel Aeroport de Girona will feel like a dream! If it's chockers there, try the Hotel Vilobí. Both are just a short drive from Costa Brava Airport, which is 40 kilometres from Llado's centre.
