All staff really helpful, professional & welcoming. Beds so comfortable & everything spotless.
Would help to have phone in room for reception in case of need (in our case, very vocal disturbance which went on for quite a while).
Heard such good things about the quirky rooms but the rooms are tired and dated hallway carpets are stained the water pressure is awful the shower stops running if you flush the toilet the wallpaper is peeling and the aircon does not work our wardrobe smelt like someone had vomited inside it couldn’t hang our clothes up. There was a portable aircon unit provided with 3 wheels that also did not work! The lobby looks good but again lots of damage when you look closely desperately needs an update not worth what we paid we may as well of stayed at the Premier Inn, when we checked out we were not asked about our stay but we definitely would not return here!

June from house keeping just made our stay extra special last lovely lady!!
A very unique property, central to all our requirements, station etc, excellent staff and the cleanliness and responsiveness of the operations team was excellent. Breakfast plentiful but could do with extra care over the presentation and temperature. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience in a deluxe room.

Birthday stay
Room was lovely and bright ,needs a bit of updating regarding flooring and some of the wallpaper . Bed was really comfy and looked clean slept well, considering it’s used for stag and Hen stay was quite . Breakfast was really nice thank you for really pork sausages and the staff really friendly .
We arrived early and were told we could have a free upgrade. Our room, which was booked for 4, actually had 8 comfortable beds and was very spacious. The room had beautiful decor and we entered the bathroom which had 2 showers and a bath which was almost like a small swimming pool. Amazing! On the way out the staff suggested places we could go and were very friendly making us love Liverpool all the more. Thank you Shankleys for a great stay!

We had a lovely stay staff we’re really welcoming and helpful. Room in need of touch of updating. Shower had no curtain or door not an ideal situation as floor got very wet with 3 girls sharing. Was here at Christmas thought the decor was for Christmas but baubles still up in July. Overall nice stay would stay again.
Ideally located hotel to explore Liverpool - themed party rooms but it meant we were all able to share the same room. Great affordable hotel. Lovely staff too.

Service with no smile
This is the second time I’ve completed this survey, please sort it out. Upon arrival, I was informed at reception that my booking hadn’t been paid for, and I was charged again on the spot. This wiped out my budget before I even had a chance to enjoy my trip. I explained that I had already paid and asked to speak with the manager. Although the manager did eventually refund the payment, the money had already left my account, which caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The customer service was unacceptable. On top of that, the room was dated and looked nothing like the images online. I will not be staying here again, and I won’t be using Hotels.com in the future.
You could easily call the hotel flash trash, however it is in fact a wonderful whimsical sensory adventure that is simply brilliant. It’s clean and smells good even though you may look at it and think yeah nah! Recommend a stay here for sure.
