Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
1-Phone was dead for room service, had to walk down to the front counter for all services
2-Wine menu was not accurate & sold out of the orders we asked & it took 45 minutes to tell us (this was at 5pm on a Saturday evening)
3-We were given a list of wines that were not on the menu to choose from & had to wait again for another 45 minutes
4-The drinks were delivered by hand without a carrier of any sort by staff, so i had to make multiple trips to take all the utensils, plate of cheesecake (warm), etc.
5-All services were marked up to premium pricing mark ups & received sub par quality product/service with no discounts offered
6-Sold out of bottled water at 9 PM & given a coffee pot to refill water from the bottom floor water filter machine
7-My wife found a half dollar sized spider in the sink that I had to kill
8- The thermostat in the room was not adjustable outside of 68 to cool or 76 to heat making the room rather uncomfortable
9- The alligator arm was broke on the decorations in the room
10- Limited entertainment space or organization for clothes in the room
11- The bar was closed and that was not advertised, staff notified us it was due to not being able to find staffing
Overall, the price did not match the expectations that we had of the location. We were reluctant to ask for any sort of refund/discount due to the fact we had childcare so we didn't want to leave and we stayed the night. They seemed understaffed, understocked, undermaintained.
