Service did not meet expectations for a 5* relaix

All of the meals, the facilities, and the rooms here at the Hotel Arena are amazing! And its a 3 minute walk from the train station, direct from the Nice airport! (Yet there is no noise, because all trains are electric.) I have stayed here several times and I very highly recommend it. The grounds are lovely and blend historic culture, and reasonable prices with full amenities. I have moved to Frejus and now recommend this hotel for all of my guests.

The receptionist was kind and very helpful. However, the air conditioning was not working properly and was even causing the ceiling to move, which made the room very hot, especially for sleeping. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping staff knocked on my door 10 minutes before check-out to ask if I could leave quickly, mentioning that they were only waiting for me, which felt quite unpleasant.

Everything was good

Lovely place, parking on site and nice staff. The only small issue we had was that the sliding door to our bathroom was sticking so you couldn't close it very easily. We told the staff so hopefully it is fixed for the next people who use that room.

It was a nice, clean room very well located.
