Room smelled bad, the recumbent exercise bike was broken. This is the second la Quinta inn with a broken recumbent exercise bike, the one in st Augustine was the same . They should not post pictures of broken equipment.

We were limited on hotels in the area due to an unplanned trip on a holiday weekend. From someone who travels often and stays in over a dozen hotels each year, this was the worst experience I have EVER had. I will not go into the disgusting details. At 2:30 in the morning, when we arrived, we called around for an hour and found another hotel that could take us for the three nights needed.

This hotel is dirty, smells of cigarettes, is also used as a homeless shelter. Some “shady characters “ going in and out of the hotel at all hours. Didn’t feel safe at all. Found someone’s blood stains on the comforter underneath the sheet don’t stay there!
