Everything was great easy check in staff was friendly. The room was nice great size. Loved the breakfast options. Pool needs a little cleaning the hot tub also needed cleaning. We turned it on and a lot of bubbles started coming out! Not sure if something was added to the water but then it made us cough from an strong scent it had. Not sure what it was but we got out right away. Overall good just that minor inconvenience with the pool area

The hotel lobby and especially my room had an overpowering smell of a strong cleaning product, barely masking the smell of dirty carpets. The clerk refused to acknowledge a problem and refused to give me my money back (I’d already paid through Expedia). I was in the room for all of five minutes—long enough to call and find a neighboring hotel. I’ve stayed in many hotels and have never encountered such a smell like this. I later spoke to the manager, who also refused a refund. At the neighboring hotel I was told that this is a recurring problem. But I can only speak to my experience and say that I’ll never stay at another AmericInn and urge people to avoid this property.

This was a nice quiet hotel it seemed a little out dated but it was nice. For the amount I spent I was disappointed in how worn down things were. The pull out couch you couldn't feel anything but springs I felt so bad for my kids. The tv choices were horrible only a couple kids channels and the one just played SpongeBob constantly. The Jacuzzi tub was perfect in our room. My son enjoyed the pool he liked that it was pretty big so he could have space to swim. The breakfast was ok options are limited on fresh items but the donuts were delicious. Food was the exact same options Saturday and Sunday which was a little disappointing. It was nice how close to the fairgrounds we were in driving distance. The cleaning crew could have done better as there were empty water bottles and fake petals or something under the pull out couch.

I was very happy with the staff but staying there for work and long hours I really did not want hair all around the top part of bath countertop, nor bring down comforter because blood splatter on it. Then when I get in there is blood spots on the sheets and had to bring down , get new one and put one. After long day work last I want to deal with.
