Incredible service during engagement/7-night stay!

I’m struggling to find words to express my appreciation… I booked the Royal Corin after reading positive reviews about its cleanliness, hot springs, and exceptional service. I can confirm it’s all true. What began as a week-long adventure with my boyfriend became a dream getaway with my now fiancé! While I was booking tours, he was coordinating with staff to plan a surprise. After his proposal, we returned to our room decorated with roses, candles, champagne, and chocolate-covered strawberries. They didn’t stop there… we were surprised with decorations at Lava Restaurant the next day, plus other complimentary snacks during our stay. The hospitality is unmatched. We missed breakfast our first day due to an excursion running long and they prepared 2 plates for us! Every interaction was warm and welcoming, I was never left with an empty drink. Wilbur at the bar become a trusted friend, we were also helped by Jillyan, Francisco, Bryan, Alex, Jacqueline and many others. THANK YOU ALL! Other highlights: - Beautiful, clean grounds - Nice poolside bar (note that it’s a toasty 102 degrees, refreshing “cold pool” next to it) - Rooms include a volcano view (we got lucky with clear skies) - Close proximity to adventures - Incredible complimentary breakfast with many options, including local specialties - Delicious food, lots of steak Another heartfelt thank you to the Royal Corin for making our stay + engagement so special. To anyone visiting — you won’t regret it. Pura Vida!

The hotel is right on the main road so it’s quite noisy but when the door is closed it’s a minimal sound. For the cost of this place which was over $500 we didnt see the value at all! Place is older but very clean. But the pool was just okay but the swim up bar is nice. Some of the thermal pools the jets weren’t working and are in fair condition. The 5th dining area is lovely but quite expensive but we found this overall is CR: it’s very expensive. The staff are lovely. The room smelled like urine and they had a rug which I felt the smell was coming from..I feel in a tropical place you don’t need a rug!

Royal Corin was overall an amazing stay. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and caring. Throughout our long honeymoon stay we were offered complimentary treats which was very thoughtful. Booking excursions and spa treatments with the hotel was a breeze and so convenient. The rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. Food was always delicious and reasonably priced. In terms of location the hotel is a close drive to the La Fortuna city center and is very accessible to other fun restaurants/shops. The main large thermal pools were wonderful and very relaxing to lounge in (even in the rain)! The service at Royal Corin was exceptional. All of the staff were customer-focused and it truly felt like they wanted you to have a pleasant experience with everything at all times. During breakfast Jonathan would always check in with us and make sure we were taken care of. Wilber was the best bartender. He was kind, his service was stellar and we loved practicing our Spanish with him. My only gripe with the hotel is that parts of it are a bit dated. Although in good condition, some of the tech in the rooms could be upgraded such as the TVs and shower system. The windows could use better sound proofing from the highway outside. The smaller thermal pools in the back could use a little more upkeep but they were still fine. Overall the high quality service and vibes made up for it and we will definitely be back. This hotel is a total gem!

Peaceful and tranquil in the heart of Arenal

The most amazing experience. This is actually the 2nd time I have stayed here. The first was 8 years ago and I decided to come back. The staff is phenomenal. The pools are glorious. Everything is so clean and I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful hotel. And the best part, no kids!
