Very quiet not many people there. No entertainment. Front desk very helpful with everything. Best friend got sick from breakfast for a day and sister got sick from dinner. Food wasnt as good. Hotel beautiful great springs. Drinks not strong at all...we got probably 2 string drinks being there 5days. We left resort to visit other springs about $30pp. We thought we woild got free day pass but wasnt specified.

This could be an amazing property. The view at the coffee shop and the infinity pool is perfect. The hot springs are nice. We had a 3rd floor volcano view room with a hot tub and the room was absolutely phenomenal EXCEPT the hundreds of ants that invaded the room every night and other bugs and lizards. I reported this and was told, "well you are in the rainforest that is normal". I had never been here so I accepted it, although it made it very difficult to sleep. I had to put on shoes (which I kept on the bed) to get up at night and walk to the bathroom. When I say hundreds, I literally mean HUNDREDS of large ants crawling all over the floors, walls, and ceiling. We talked to people at surrounding resorts and they did not have this same experience. The front desk lady said she would have someone spray outside our room but that was all she could do. It did not help at all. We realized that the ants were coming in around the air conditioner and the doors had no seals on the bottoms so there was a huge gap that the larger bugs and lizards were entering through. We went on to stay in a tent in the forest of Monteverde after we left La Fortuna and we did not even have the amount of critters enter our tent out in the forest as we did our room at Paradise Hot Springs. I would have rated this resort so much higher but this night time experience in our room was simply unacceptable and the staff just discounted our concerns completely. And no we did not have any food in our room!

Amazing stay at the hot spring, property is kept in great condition with welcoming and kind workers. I would recommend this hot spring to anyone who wants a relaxing stay and close distance to La Fortuna town. The hot springs are kept very clean and you have a beautiful view of the volcano.

Is a beautiful hotel the staff is really amiable and professionalThe food needs a lot of improvement, not the buffet the other restaurant that is à la carte , the fish that they gave us we couldn’t eat it. It was like old uncooked something was wrong with it.

Cool hotel-book room 39!

This was a really cool hotel in a great location! We loved the view from our room (39) of the volcano and all of the pasture animals. It was so cool watching them fill the hot springs in the morning with fresh steaming water. Some of the pools needed some new tile and felt a bit dated but overall we really enjoyed ourselves here.

We stayed at Paradise for a night before heading elsewhere. Loved their Hot Springs - especially the swim up bar. Room was huge and as nice as anything in the area within this price range. Two minor pieces of negative feedback: our shower was lukewarm at best both times we used it. We also had our towel & room key taken from our pool chair and the front desk associate gave us some attitude when we asked for a new towel new room key. Outside of that - this is a great hotel for the price range.

Our room was very clean and very updated. The thermal spas were plentiful and well designed. We loved the coffee bar with private pool that looked out over a farm full of animals and the volcano. It is beautiful.

Beautiful property with view of Arenal volcano from the coffee bar. Loved all of the hot springs at varying temperatures. Room was modern and food at the restaurant was yummy. Enjoyed the drinks at the swim up bar. The water and cold cloth at check in was appreciated.
