Great Stay .. Perfect Location

Had a wonderful time at the Hotel Lomas Del Volcan. The locations was very central to hikes , waterfalls and thermal springs. Enjoyed watching the Monkeys right from the pool :) The breakfast in the was excellent and the view of the Volcano could not be beat! See pic. Staff was personable and helpful. Highly recommend.

One of the best properties in La Fortuna. We went with small kids and had a fabulous time. Breakfast options are great amazing view of the volcano pool with a great view. Stay at this place, you won't be disappointed.

We were in a quiet cabin with its own jacuzzi. A short walk led to pools, bar and restaurant on premises. We saw toucans, hummingbirds and summer tanagers, and other birds on site.

Excellent Stay

Absolutely beautiful! Our cabin was very nice and comfortable, with a great view of the Volcano. The grounds were in excellent shape and the pool/jacuzzi area was very nice and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We also had a massage at the SPA and we loved it. Very nice! We saw wild monkeys playing in the trees across from our cabin. The staff was was very professional. We will return.

We selected Hotel Lomas for our trip because of the amenities and overall apprearance. After a long day of fun physical activities it was nice to not have to go back into town to enjoy a wonderful local cuisine them relax at the pool bar or the regular bar. We met so many cool people from all over the world. Fabulous experience!

Good accommodation with great views.

Well maintained and comfortable accommodation with lots of space and nice private outdoor sitting areas. Great view of the volcano and pleasant gardens with many birds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food and drink in bar and restaurant offers limited choice with high prices. Breakfast good.

This hotel was fabulous for our stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet in the morning was FABULOUS with lots of varieties and options. The individual cabin style lodging was a bonus and added a lot of privacy with views of the volcanos right outside your door. The restaurants onsite had good food and drinks. The location feels private but is also super convenient to downtown Fortuna and all of our excursions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property has a beautiful setting and is a very tranquil place to stay. It is right on the outskirts of La Fortuna and situated in a very secluded area. I do recommend you have a car or other transportation from the hotel if you stay there. We had a rental car so we had no issue with transportation but it is too far off the beaten path to just wander into town for dinner or shopping. The hotel staff can of course set up any transportation you might need. They offer many,many things at the hotel for you to do… massage, yoga, pool , hot tub, and walking trail… so you actually never need to venture off the property if you are looking to just stay and enjoy the amenities there. If you have a car then it is in the perfect location. Not too far and not to close to all La Fortuna has to offer. The breakfast buffet which is included is phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. PS Yoga is no extra charge and was relaxing and in a beautiful covered outdoor space. I highly recommend going to yoga especially if you have been hiking.
