While it's pretty difficult to stay right in the centre, there is some accommodation not too far away. Take your pick of 6 digs within 10 kilometres of downtown La Cueva.

Among the most central hotels available, the Gran Hotel Balneario and Apartamentos Turísticos Bahía de Boó are cool places to curl up with a movie in bed after a long day of amazing adventures.

Want more options? The Eurostars Hotel Real can be found 19 kilometres away from the main central district, and the Gran Hotel Sardinero is 20 kilometres away. If those options aren't your cup of tea, you may prefer the Parador De Santillana De Gil B or the Castilla Termal Balneario de Solares.

El Astillero is another place where you can sit back and make friends with the room service menu. Located 11 kilometres northeast of La Cueva, it's where you'll find the Somo Beach and Palacio de la Magdalena. Get a ride 70 kilometres west and you'll come across Llanes, a regional centre with a population of 14,000. While you're in this neck of the woods, you'll be able to get your tourist on at Ballota Beach, Toro Beach and Sablon Beach. Basilica de Santa Maria and Castru La Ballota are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some photo ops. The Las Rocas and Arcea La Arquera are some hotel options in Llanes.
