There was no view to the fjord since it was hidden by bushes. When booking it we didn't really have an idea of the place, and we ended up being under a family. If I knew that we would've gotten the basement I wouldn't have booked it to be honest. They should be more tramsparent about the room before booking since they only show pictures of their best places. People were very nice though and we had no problems checking in and checking out. Just the location of our place wasn't the best, we could hear the family above us when they used water, if they were walking around. At least we couldn't hear them talking but it definitely woke us up earlier than we wanted to.
Rien à redire, c’est vieillot comme prévu. Nous avions un petit studio très fonctionnel avec vue obstruée sur le fjord. Mais très confortable, bien situé, super propre. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Belle piscine avec vue.
In general, this property is great: beautiful view, clean and convenient, with restaurants, supermarkets and a Marina in walking distance.
Biggest issue is communication. The staff on site only speaks French that makes it difficult for people who only speaks English to communicate with them. Besides, there is lack of communication between the hotel and Expedia as well. We booked a 3-bedroom chalet through Expedia, but found out upon arrival there is no 3-bedroom unit existing anymore because of the change of ownership. We got a 2 bedroom unit instead. We also booked 2 more nights through the hotel's own website, but we were told our names are not in their system for those dates. Although the staff finally managed to make us stay, they need to do something to improve their booking system.
Other than that, everything else is good, nice stay!
When we got to the hotel they did have our reservation. We had to stay for one night in another bedroom (cheaper than what we pay for). After the check out they charged me more than what hotels.com reservation advised... still trying to get my money bak because I don’t speak French
The location is amazing, the view from the correct room breathtaking but they need to improve communication.
The floors were dusty, which we notice all the more as we remove our shoes upon entering the places we stay at. A good vacuuming session and moping would be all that’s needed to correct the issue. Everything else was fabulous!

older little studios need updating...no soundproofing so you hear every footstep above you.. close to the southern entrance of saguenay park although there is no signage anywhere..no real view of the bay unless you walk down to the street
Booked a two night stay on a recent road trip, check in was good and staff friends and informative. Our chalet stank of disinfectant on entering, we were looking forward to a good nights rest, unfortunately that didn’t happen the bed was so uncomfortable, lumpy and the pillows smelled of stale sweat. We didn’t sleep and checked out at daybreak.
View of bay from living areas with small deck. Very old property and despite recent renovations, conditions still average. Bed uncomfortable and need to replace mattress. No shampoo in one of bathrooms. Too expensive considering the quality of property. Amenities include outdoor community heated pool.
Before check in we received a mail with all the information we would require and then check in itself was quick and easy. The member of staff also let us know a host of other info on arrival such as where to eat and what to do.
The chalet itself was very cosy with a lovely view of the water. All in all this area was part of our favourite part of our two weeks travelling around the national parks of Quebec. Simply stunning!
