Clean room and friendly staff. Gave us a a bottle of wine as it was our honeymoon. One free drink for every guest every night was a good touch. They didn’t offer drinking water in room.

Everything about this stay was incredible. The breakfast was tasty (not included in room rate but reasonable in price), room was a good amount of space, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Sake violet welcome drink was yummy.

The hotel is located just minutes away from the JR Kyoto Station. Great amenities and welcome drinks. Another great part is they have onsen (hot springs) at the hotel. Lastly, the place offers free laundry. Overall amazing place to stay.

It was a nice hotel on a good location. This hotel is extremely strict. You can only do 3 nookings at a time, and because there was 8 of us, and the "leader" , I have to sign an agreement about their policies on big groups regarding noice policy and that because we are in a group and want to eat at their restaurant, it's not guaranteed that we weill be seated together. Understandable, since their breakfast area has limited seatings. The worst part...I have to pay 3000yen because I stained the towel,pillow case and shower curtain because I just had my hair colored prior to coming here. :( . I did not oppose, I just paid without questions. I told them about it because I don't want them charging my card by surprise and they scan passports on check- in.I miht get banned if I argue with them. Overall, our stay was ok.

CLEAN: 5/5. Room was clean and after a few days at a hotel in Tokyo, was also spacious. The balcony was a nice touch (we were on 2nd floor of the South bldg). QUIET: 5/5. We faced a road & heard occasional street noise, but nothing that kept us awake. More importantly, we heard ZERO noise from our nextdoor or upstairs neighbors. AMENITIES: 5/5. We didn't partake in breakfast, so I can't speak to that. A daily free drink (boozy or not) for guests was a nice touch. Checking in and out was super easy. Speaking of which, the front desk was in the North bldg, and guest rooms were in both the North and South bldgs. The South bldg was directly across the street from the North bldg, and you needed to use your room key card to gain entry. Separate onsen (in South bldg) for men and women; the one for women also required a security code that the front desk provided). Multiple drink lounges (water, coffee, tea...one in the North bldg where restaurant was & where breakfast was served and another in the South bldg). I can't recall if laundry service existed or was offered, but we didn't do any at this stage of our Japan trip. ACCESS: within a 5-10 minute walk of Kyoto Station so everything was super accessible. Also a 7 Eleven half a block away from North bldg. AFFORDABILITY: Was here at a non-peak time so I suppose that's why it seemed affordable, but for the price and location, it was a good value to us. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the sense of community staying at Sakura lounge hotel. We enjoyed the free flavored water and welcome drink every night. Located just few minutes from Kyoto station, yet once you walked in the hotel, it was totally different world; quiet, peaceful, relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the couch by the fire sipping drinks listening live music played by local musicians. The hotel has communal hot tub, I loved it.

I LOVED Sakura Terrace and I’d absolutely book again. Close to Kyoto Station for easy sightseeing, relatively spacious room, and a cozy facilities section with a bath and massage chairs that were necessary after hiking the fushimi inari temple trail. Really loved that they had rental haoris for when you sit out in the patio area. Just felt like a cool communal space
