Nice position, great staff and breakfast was a great delight but the free WiFi was a waste of time (download of just over 4mbps and uploads of just over 2mbps meant you couldn't really watch anything on your personal devices, just the blue ring of death)... and the provided TV had no cable TV just a handful of local channels. So anyone wanting to use some internet it was not available. When discussed with staff member I just recieved a 'there must be a lot of people on it!!!!'. Certainly not an answer for 2026. Fortunately, the hotel had live music all nights except Sunday's ...so you can sip your evenings away with some great sulty jazz style live muso's....Fix the internet problem and maybe some cable and this place would become highly recommended.

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to the train station and surrounded by a quiet neighbourhood. It was easy to get around while still enjoying a peaceful stay. The public bath was well maintained and a great way to unwind after a day out.

Hotel was great. Staff was top notch. Had a evening welcome drink every night and 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobbies. Hotel had fire pits in the lobby and blankets to use while enjoying the evenig drink as it was in the 40's temperature wise. Public bath was great as well to relax in after a day of sightseeing

The room was small but very clean and comfortable. The dining room was fantastic; both breakfast and dinner offered excellent value for money. The cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect, especially sitting by the fireplace in the lobby, wrapped in a blanket, listening to the sound of the rain.
