The Dhawa Yuri is in a great area close to unlimited dining options and great shopping. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff (like all hotel staff we have encountered in Japan) were friendly and very helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel for sightseeing in Kyoto. Many important sites are easily walkable from the hotel while all others are reachable by public transit stations which are minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel is lovely. The bed in my room was rather lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no chair in the room so the only place to sit was on the bed. It would have been nice if decaf coffee was available. The location of the hotel was excellent.

I was promised a”river view” Wrong! My room was facing two empty lots with a building at the end. No any green areas around the hotel. No chance to get English channels or even English subo(BBC is the only channel) No chance to connect to Y-tube, Netflix
