Don't skedaddle before you've checked out the Jeonju Zoo and the Sori Arts Center of Jeolla in Jeonju. If you'd like to spend a night or two in Jeonju, look into the rates at the Jeonju Tourist Hotel and Benikea Jeonju Hansung Tourist Hotel. 60 kilometres to the south of Kuam you'll also find Namwon, home to the Chunwangbong Pension and The Suites Hotel Namwon. While in Namwon, be sure to visit Namwon Recreational Forest and the Namwon National Gugak Center.

Cheonan is home to some 370,000. It can be found 100 kilometres north of Kuam. Local attractions worth visiting include the Independence Hall of Korea, Hyundai Bowling Center and the Gakwonsa Temple.
