I had an extremely disappointing experience at Panan Resort, and I would not recommend it to anyone. There were several issues during my stay that made it feel like the resort was poorly managed and in need of serious improvement.
Cleanliness:
The cleanliness was by far the biggest problem. Our Cliff View room was not properly cleaned—there was dust on surfaces, stains on the carpet, and a musty smell that lingered the entire stay. The bathroom was equally neglected, with grime in the corners of the shower and old, dirty towels. The pool area was also in bad shape, with debris in the water, cracked tiles, and worn-out, uncomfortable lounge chairs. It was clear that the resort wasn’t being properly maintained.
Staff Service and Communication:
The service was shockingly bad. A major issue was the lack of English-speaking staff, which led to constant miscommunication. Every request, whether at the restaurant or reception, took multiple attempts to clarify. Simple orders at the restaurant were often wrong, and staff seemed uninterested or unable to help. The lack of basic communication skills resulted in a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Even when we tried to address issues at reception, the staff seemed disorganized, unprofessional, and unable to provide any real assistance.
Property Condition:
The overall condition of the property was poor. The Cliff View room was outdated, with old furniture and a general sense of neglect. The pool area looked like
