Book Kirn hotels

Disappointed with the food, it was ok but a bit undercooked, some items missing, and service was a bit slow. The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway. So we did not get to go to the spa as planned. In previous years this place has been great, hope it gets back there!

Parking was fine as we got there before car park filled up. There are no shops nearby. Our room had only a drip of cold water coming out the tap. The bed was sagging and the kettle was rusty inside. Apart from that it was warm and clean.

I have rated this stay high because it was excellent value for money. Obviously the area and views are outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We decided to have dinner at the hotel because they had great options and the Korma we ordered was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was delicious and fresh and we were so impressed with the quality of the food for the price. It’s my 2nd time staying at this hotel and it’s been pleasant both times. It is much cheaper than other options in the area and I can honestly say the food was 10/10. We also had a great restful sleep! They have a hot tub & sauna for guests to use and the pool table was free to use for guests also, which was ideal. Thank you, we will come again!
