Some electric plug don't work in the room, the way they fix is to pur a electric extension, but if you want to use the lamp you have to unplug the tv When I arrive (In March), the heater was turn off, go back to front desk and refuse to change my room, tell me to turn on the heater and everything will be ok after 30 minutes...

There was no hot water in the room and the mattress was worn out and lacked support. I left with a back ache. When I brought the lack of hot water to their attention in the morning, I was told “yeah room # - doesn’t have hot water in the sink, you should have tried the shower.” There was no way I was going to shower with cold water. No price adjustment was made. The property has a beautiful view of the lake, and a quaint ambiance. I want to support local business, and I did not want to travel to a large chain hotel in Pembroke, even for a cheaper price. Overall, the Sands could use some improvements. For the $200 price, I was seriously disappointed. Make the trek to a better hotel for your money. It had recently snowed, and the walkway was not cleared at all.
