Great base camp for hiking as advertised.

High peaks was great for our summer stay in lake placid. We were in the waterfront collection and the ease of lake and pool access from the room was amazing. The rooms were cozy and beds comfortable. I wish they had fixed the dock the other side of the lake to give more options to sit and view the lake. The included water activities was a real treat! I would love to see refillable water dispensers, they were nowhere to be found at the resort; in the summer especially, that would have been nice. Also, one night they should have a late opening at the bar at the lake house. They closed at 9pm, in the summer. I get not every night but make it into a special evening with late night bar and maybe some activity at the lake house for the guests. Also, they had a movie night but I think the movie was poorly chosen because it was rated R-comedy and there were so many kids staying there at the waterfront and watching the movies. It was just uncomfortable. Could have been a family friendly comedy/movie but they made a bad choice. Other than that, recommend the resort, cant beat the location.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big and clean. Everything was very clean.

I chose The Boha as a value option and was very pleased with not only how comfortable and clean my room was but with how perfect the location was. The easy walk into Lake Placid made my stay very enjoyable.
