Just a few steps to Kokura station where you could easily to get around by train. Kokura Castle is within walkable distance. Shopping mall and restaurants are just nearby.

The most impressive hotel just a few minutes walk from the station connected by walkway. Loved the convenience of getting to all the places we wanted to go. Staff were most helpful and breakfast was excellent with ample variety to enjoy for a week.

I hardly slept on my 3 night stay. The pictures show it as a private room but there is no ceiling so you are technically in a cubical sharing a room with 8 other very loud people. The noise was completely unreasonable and I will never stay at this property again. The slamming of the doors, crunching wrappers, coughing at 3am made me want to leave as soon as possible. The bed and pillows are made of fake leather and blankets and towel must be rented for a daily fee. Worst place I have stayed in Japan by far. I wish I could get my money back

Staff service were good Outlet in the room and the entire hotel had only 2 prong outlet, no adapters available for the guest. Were told to buy one if I needed to recharge my laptop.

This is like an express hotel with an automated check in via tablets in the lobby. At the conclusion of your check in, an agent will face time to confirm and answer any questions. They have English speaking agents for foreign travelers. The room was compact bur efficient. You use a key code to enter the building and your room. A short walk from Kokura station and the castle park, there are a lot of dining options and shopping nearby.
