Everyone knows Aussies just love to relax, so consider kicking back a little longer and checking out the Honkoji Temple and Mount Utatsu in Kanazawa, 15 kilometres to the northeast of Kawakita-machi. Takayama is located 75 kilometres away from Kawakita-machi and has a population of 67,000.
