Rushy Creek Farm is a tranquil and private rural retreat with sweeping views of pastures, bush and a dam. A modern and stylish 4 bedroom/ 2 bathroom house affords generous views of the surrounding countryside from inside and from decking on 3 sides. Visitors can enjoy an outdoor fireplace and cosy indoor woodburner . There is also a private outdoor bath that you can enjoy views of the surrounding countryside from. and listen to the cows, birds and frogs! The house is surrounded by beautifully landscaped native gardens which attract many birds close to the house. It is an ideal property for bird watching. The house is situated on an 160 acre working sheep farm. There is ample room for for children to play outside, a badminton court, mini soccer field and Boules and Finska. . Visitors can enjoy a short walk to Rushy Creek and Rushy Creek Dam.

This is a serene and restful property if you're looking to get away from the city and the outlook is very pleasant. The host Tracy is lovely and easy to communicate with. Our first two nights here were very hot and apart from fans, it's very hard to cool the main house down. There is airconditioning in the small back house which is best for 2 or 3 people max. The couch is quite small and would not sleep 2 people unless they were kids. The main house has beautiful bedrooms and bathroom, the back house is much older and bathroom very small but is functional. We were very pleased with the second fridge in the back house as we really needed it. The kitchen is a good size and was adequate for our large family group. The wifi is very unreliable at this property and was unavailable quite a bit of the time. Overall, we had a lovely holiday at this farm property and the kids had plenty of space available outside. Some games are provided which we also enjoyed.

We just had a 4 night stay at Rushy Creek in January. We loved the spacious living areas with high ceilings, beautifully decorated in calming colours and comfortable furniture. The sleeping arrangements worked perfectly for our two families with the separate wing being occupied by youngest child with parents to allow all early bedtime. The men loved fishing and catching marron from the dam using provided equipment. We also loved laying on the deck at night to enjoy the plethora of stars that are not visible from Perth. We also enjoyed both outdoor seating areas to relax and chat both in the evening and throughout the day.Rushy creek is a peaceful and spacious place to stay and close to Hamelin Bay, Boranup forest and Augusta which we visited during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped with plates, glasses and cutlery but some of knives and utensils a bit average. Limited towels but did get access to more once requested. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay again.

A great property

We had a lovely stay at Rushy Creek Farm. The property is well appointed with everything you need for your stay. A special highlight are the indoor and outdoor fireplaces that made the house cosy on our winter weekend away. The property is in a perfect spot to explore this area of the south west and we would stay here again.Tracy is a great host who helped us when we needed more wood and posted back some items that we left behind. Stunning farm retreat for a family gathering

The setting was absolutely beautiful and the modern farmhouse was fantastic with all modern conveniences. It suited our family of grandparents, two sets of parents and three small children perfectly. There were gilgies in the dam and baby lambs next to the house. The outdoor fire was a hit with marshmallow roasting and we cooked up some farmhouse meals in the well appointed kitchen.

Great gataway

Second time we have stayed at Rushy Creek Farm, fabulous location if you like peace and quiet. The lovely home is surrounded by open fields and beautiful farmland, we loved watching the sheep moving from paddock to paddock. It was lambing season so it was fantastic to see the new lambs with their mothers. Totally recommend a stay with a group of special friends and family.

Perfect family weekend

We loved the property immediately it was perfect for our three families, giving us the room to be together but also space to separate if needed especially with two babies. Just a perfect setting watching the sheep going from field to field listening to all the birds and just being at one with nature whilst have all the comforts of a beautiful home. Don’t forget to try the new distillery at the top of the drive.

Beautiful Rushy Creek

A beautiful property in idyllic location, we loved the peaceful country location, playing badminton and Finska, stargazing from the outdoor bath, walking around the property and just relaxing in a much cooler climate than up in Perth! Thank you Tracy for being a wonderful host.
