This is the best hotel I’ve experienced on my Iceland Ring-road trip. The restaurant was great for breakfast and my wife and I totally enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant. Check-in was straightforward and we had the lake view room - great for sunrise. And after sunset (more light at midnight) .. we had our very first sighting of the Northern Lights. I must stress that Northern Lights sightings are purely based on luck and chance, but the location of the hotel does help due to less light pollution. If you are on the Ring Road trip give this hotel look-see, I hope you will also have as much an enjoyable time as me and my wife did.
