The nation's capital city, Ankara, lies 510 kilometres to the northeast of Kabak Valley.

Spend a few hours strolling along the beach and relaxing with a seaside picnic at Oludeniz Beach or Patara Beach.

Craving some time out in nature? Grab those car keys and hightail it to Saklikent Gorge, 25 kilometres from Kabak Valley. You can also get some fresh air at Gemiler Island, 12 kilometres away.

Make your way over and see what you can find at Kabak Beach.

Remember to head to other nearby attractions, such as Fethiye Fish Market and Grand Ucel Aqua Park. You will find them 18 kilometres north in Fethiye. Not ready to give back the rental car just yet? Xanthos and Letoon Antique Theater are in Gelemiş, 25 kilometres to the southeast of Kabak Valley.

Locals often make the journey to Kas. This place is 55 kilometres to the southeast and not far from the Kas Amphitheatre, Big Pebble Beach and the Hellenistic Theatre. If you're staying a little while, don't forget about Lions Tomb and Pazkar Market.
