While lastminute.com.au has a seriously impressive database of Maldives accommodations, regrettably you won't find anywhere to crash in or close to Kaashidhoo.

But don't work yourself into a panic just yet. There are hotel options in Helengeli, which is located 40 kilometres away from Kaashidhoo. These hotels include the Vivanta by Taj Coral Reef, Maldives and Meeru Island Resort & Spa.

Dharavandhoo is another place where you can sit back and get to know the room service menu. Located 40 kilometres northwest of Kaashidhoo, it's where you'll find the Kihaadhuffaru Island Beach and Kihaadhuffaru Island Pier. The Kihaa Maldives and Dharavandhoo Stay are a few of the great hotel options here. 60 kilometres to the north of Kaashidhoo you can also stay at Fushifaru, which is home to the Kanuhura Maldives and Palm Beach Resort & Spa. Palm Island Beach and Kanuhura Beach are just some of the most popular sites to see when you're in Fushifaru.

People's Majlis, Medhu Ziyaaraiy and Mulee Aage Palace are just a couple of the awesome things to see and do in Male. This regional centre is 85 kilometres south of Kaashidhoo and has a population of 100,000. Republic Square and Sultan Park are a few more which are sure to offer up some choice photo ops. There is a good number of hotels in Male, with the Hotel Jen Malé, Maldives and Hotel Octave at the top of our list.

After being squished into a cabin seat for hours, a nice warm bed at the Hulhule Island Hotel will be bliss! If that doesn't quite cut it, try the Baani Hotel. Both are just a short drive from Male International Airport, which is 85 kilometres from the centre of town.
