The hot tub & pool area was decent and the restaurant available to walk to without going outside was great. The food was very good. Initially arriving, staff was super rude & not welcoming at all. We got to our room after 4 hours of driving only to walk into a moldy/musty smell & a running toilet with water all over the floor. Only moved after requesting it half an hour later. Second room pretty dirty. Stains on bedding, hair in bathtub, spider webs all over the windows and dust on surfaces. Toilet also dirty.

Check in was slow and uninformative. They assumed we knew how they did theor breakfast. The room smelt like musty mildew. The faucet in the bathroom was broken. The only good thing was the pool and two hot tubs.

Good for the price

The breakfast was great and the cook super personable. Our only complaint was the frequent re-keying process, which was 4xs in as many days. The other concern is for anyone concerned about falling in a shower. The showers are nice but there are no grab bars,no anti-slip strips on the floor and no shelves to place toiletries on. The floors are extremely slick. We asked for a shower mat but there were none so we used a towel which worked.

When we got there ( in our poolside room) we looked out and saw 1 hot tub was closed and the pool was half drained. I had called the hotel making the reservation to see if the pool and hot tubs were working and was told yes. The room was dirty. Dusty, had not been vaccummed, soap on the vanity in the bathroom, no towels. I was very upset and disappointed. There was one woman at the front desk who did all she could do to help the situation. Her name was Tina. She gave me fresh sheets, towels, a cleaning rag and a bottle of disinfectant. She was severely over worked with no help. So.. I cleaned our room and made the best of it. This property could be ama ing under the right management and more staff like Tina.

Totally unexceptable so we left! Stains on the sheets, mold in the bathroom. Tv wasn’t working, air conditioning wasn’t working! Very surprised and the lady at front desk, Robin said for you to contact her and she would offer a full refund!

Pool was awesome. Enjoyed being able to look out over the pool from the balcony. Nice hot tubs. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Alot to choose from. Could have let everyone have eggs, sausage, or biscuits gravy. Very quiet.

The location is great for Valley Fair. Hotel itself I’d say hitting retro not modern. That is fine. Good for the price for sure.

Room was never cleaned once; the towels were expected to be used for 3 days straight, even though they don't adequately provide pool towels as they were never washed in the 3 days we were there just kept piling up in a bin. The shower had dirt all over, the toilet had pee on it, the shower glass was scummy clearly not scrubbed in a long time. The manger Angel was extremely unprofessional when confronted with these issues multiple times, only to lie to her bosses that she wasn't informed prior. I also had spoken to the house keepers in fluent Spanish, and it was clearly illustrated that our room, especially bathroom, needed a deep clean immediately. The excuses from the management and ownership all around in APPALLING. The way the owner responded makes me wonder if he's dating this manager because every bad review mentions how horrible she is at her role. There were 3 other staff I dealt with, 2 managers named Tina and Kim were amazing as was the breakfast chef. Angel isn't cut out for the hospitality business that much is clear by the way she just shuts down when confronted with issues that fall on her responsibility.

Staff had to break lock for us to enter into our room and replace it once we got our bags in. Our bathroom looked like it had’t been cleaned in months. Shower curtain was moldy. There was also an old shower head in the corner of the tub, which looked like ours was replaced but the old one had been left. The whole hotel was very humid.
