When you stay at Auberg-Inn Guesthouse in Jericho, you'll be in the historical district, within a 5-minute drive of Tell es-Sultan and Zacchaeus' Tree.
The hotel was empty when I arrived. The owner came and opened it and showed me around. It’s a very clean place with a nice garden. He told me the war in Gaza has stopped tourists coming. If you’re reading this, Jericho is a safe place and you can come and enjoy a peaceful stay. I did.
