Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return.

Our stay in the ‘Heritage cottage’ was exactly as described—quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. The welcome breakfast pack was a thoughtful touch, with fresh locally sourced bread, milk, juice, eggs, and bacon. The kitchen was fully equipped, and having basic condiments already stocked made things super easy. The three farm dogs were an unexpected delight—welcoming us warmly and happily joining us on our walks. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy, and everything felt well-organized and relaxed. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer… and we definitely plan to come back.

Great place. Accommodation was quite nice and the continental breakfast was a nice inclusion. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

It's very warm and cozy, and the facilities are very complete.

Perfect spot. Homely, tidy and really well set up with everything we needed.So cosy with the fire going and with a beautiful view down to the lake. A stones throw to the waters edge (and the pub!).Fabulous!!
