Even though the hotel scene in Izumo isn't anything to get too excited about, we do offer one great hotel within 30 kilometres of the central area.

As the nearest hotel to Izumo, Hirata MAPLE Hotel is a brilliant place to mingle with other travellers.

Still haven't discovered the perfect room? You might just find a soft enough thread count in Matsue. You'll also be able to have some adventures at the Yuushien Garden and Iya Shrine. If you want to spend a few nights in Matsue, look into the rates at the Matsue Excel Hotel Tokyu and Matsue New Urban Hotel Annex. Alternatively, you could stay in Yonago, 60 kilometres to the east of Izumo, where you'll find the Yonago Washington Hotel Plaza and Kaike Tsuruya. Mukibanda Yayoi remains and Hokikodainooka Park are popular attractions to see while in Yonago.
