Welcoming staff. Convenient location. Room with a big window with a nice view of the river. Comfortable bed and bedding. Clean.

Thoroughly friendly skyrise hotel. Probably for businessmen and conventions, but great for the weary tourist too. Tons of parking, a great gift shop, and a very good restaurant for lunch. Perfect locale if the ferry to Sado Island is your next stop.

Property is nice and convenient next to train station. Entrance is a little hard to find.

Close to rail station. There's no street level crosswalk across Higashi-odori. If you walk up from the rail station, on the southwest side of the street and try to cross at the hotel you have the option to use the over-the-street walkway over the street (which is awkward if you have heavy rolling luggage!) So cross two blocks before the hotel.

Staff are very accommodating, clean and comfty bed, amazing breakfast. Near train station and restaurants, very convenient.

Beautiful traditional Japanese Inn. Long history behind the inn nicely updated. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. The service of the traditional dinner in our room was above and beyond. We didn’t always know why we were eating but we did try everything. The hot bathing tub and outdoor shower were lovely and private. Nice amenities for the room. For US travelers the futon mats could have been a little thicker and the pillows were definitely unusual for us but obviously traditional. Breakfast was again traditional Japanese and everything very fresh. Staff went out of their way to use translation service to help us with our scheduling of transportation.
