There’s no time to be bored in a world as amazing as this. Travel somewhere you've never been before like Itu, Sorocaba! This cool city has a population of around 550,000 people — don't be afraid to mingle with a few of them during your visit. Once you've landed at Congonhas - Sao Paulo International Airport and hauled your suitcase from the conveyor belt, Itu is a drive of 75 kilometres to the northwest. From central Sorocaba, it's located 25 kilometres northeast.

Itu is a wonderland for sightseers. A great deal of the city's attractions are sprinkled near this interesting neighbourhood, including the Energy Museum and Plaza Shopping Mall. After taking a look at those, you're going to want to continue on to Church of Our Lady of Candelaria and Padre Miguel Square. While you're here, consider checking out some other neighbourhoods to see more of what Sorocaba offers. Eixo Historico and Pirapitingui are great recommendations that are close by.
