Beautiful place, friendly staff, location is ok, close to Cisternina, a small and beautiful town.

This is a wonderful, clean & friendly hotel in the heart of Martina France. I have come many times since 2012 & always have a great experience.

Beautiful location. The Trullos are unique. Sleeping under a dome is very relaxing. The bedrooms could do with more shelving. Had to leave clothes in luggages on the floor. In the off season, each individual Trullo pool is unheated. I was still able to swim my laps in 20 degrees water. Quite invigorating! Others might not venture at this temperature. The daily included breakfasts were delicious and very healthy. A car is essential as this is true Puglia country living. Expect drive at least 10 minutes to find a nearby restaurant. A golf cart comes with your Trullo rental. It is a 3-4 minute drive from the parking lot to my Trullo. A most unique countryside experience. Do not expect a front desk or guest services. That is part of the charm. Very off the beaten path. Interesting concept! A very beautiful property.

On arrival no one advised regarding an issue with the swimming pool. We were shocked to go to it and find the pool bright green in colour. We enquired at reception and were advised the pool was being tested routinely and it was safe for guests to use. Staff advised it had been like that for 6 days and was due to grass cuttings blowing into the pool. We did not use the pool as we had safety concerns. The next day I asked to speak to the hotel Director regarding my concerns but he was not on site and reception staff did not know when he would visit next. I asked if the hotel had informed the ASL (local health authority) of the bright green pool issue and the fact that it was open for use but I did not receive an answer. I suggested the pool needed to be closed for guest safety, a notice informing guests of the issue and further testing for bacteria. Within an hour my suggestions were implemented and they starting to drain the pool. I never did get to use the pool during my 4 day stay and I never did get to speak to the Hotel Director about the issue. The hotel itself is in a beautiful setting and the guest facing staff extremely pleasant. Actions by Hotel Management in responding to the bright green pool issue was not to my personal standard as in my view guest safety is their highest priority. The trip was spoiled not so much by the lack of use of the swimming pool (mistakes do happen) but the response to the issue and lack of availability to Hotel Management.

Trulli Foggie du Sauro is a countryside paradise. The peace and tranquility is ideal for unwinding, yet the location is just minutes away from nearby towns of interest and tourist attractions. It’s the ideal location for a home base to visit the many interesting places in Puglia. Your host, Eligio, and his granddaughter Sara, are a text away for anything that you may need. They sent us goggle maps links to ensure we found our travel destinations, and they were on call for anything at all. We were greeted with plentiful food and water to start off our vacation stay with a truly Puglian touch. We felt like we had our own private villa with a pool that was perfect for cooling off from the warm days in the sun. The patio area is nicely shaded with jasmine vines that filter the sunlight and provide beautiful shade for outdoor dining or relaxing. The Trulli itself has all of the conveniences of home while preserving the authenticity of living in a Trulli. If you are going to visit Puglia, you owe it to yourself to experience it as a Puglian. On a personal note, I was dealing with an ankle injury from earlier in my trip, and Eligio and Sara made sure I got connected with health care providers and a mobility device. Having that level of care from a VRBO host was extraordinary. I felt like I was a member of the family with the care and attention that I received. Many thanks to Eligio and Sara for helping to bring success to my vacation in spite of my injury. We will return! Grazie!

This property is "Stylish Luxury in Puglia". The villa just kept on giving. Booking, communication, welcome pack, the style of every room was just so perfect. So many outdoor spaces to find and create cherished memories. Would like to return here one day. Thank you Alex, Claren and Francesco for an amazing holiday.
