Service: We were upgraded to a new room at our request; we stayed in room 104 for 5 days. Daily cleaning. Cleanliness. No tobacco smell—the room is truly non-smoking. Safe. Windows overlook a shopping street—if you want peace and quiet, Istanbul is not for you. The port is nearby, and the terminal is across the street. The embankment is a long walk, a couple of hours. Breakfast includes cucumbers, tomatoes, 5 types of cheese, and drinking water. Coffee and tea are available all day. The reception staff are very welcoming—they speak English. We ordered a transfer, and they met and saw us off. A great 3*** hotel. Thank you.

This is a great budget hotel overall. I spent 5 nights there at under $390. The neighborhood is safe with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. My room with panoramic view was tiny. The bed was literally a foot away from the door. There wasn't much space for luggages so everything had to go on that small desk or ledge under the TV. The queen size bed fits the whole room from the balcony to the bathroom. The room was well cleaned when I arrived, but no daily housekeeping. On my third day I had to request it, and that was the only time it was done. They made the bed but did not change the sheets. Breakfast was more like afternoon snacks consisting of tomatoes, cucumbers, cheeses, sliced ham or bologna, pita, break rolls cut in halves, boiled eggs, and bunch of condiments. They also had coffee, tea, and 1 type of juice. The food was a pass for me, plus they never started on time. Front desk personnel, were helpful and courteous. Good choice for solo travelers or anyone on a budget.

The staff was very helpful and friendly : tee and coffee on demand during the day and at night. Our room was small but comfortable. Good for budget travellers. The area around the property is quite safe and lots of affordable shops and restaurants. Good food. Breakfasts were very good.

stayed there for one week, and during that time they never cleaned my room, even though I asked them several times. They also ruined my linen jumpsuit when they washed it. I even paid for the service and explained to them how to properly wash linen since it’s expensive, but when I got my clothes back, they were completely destroyed. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to wear them again. I went to the reception to explain what happened, but they only said “sorry to hear that” and took no further action.

Staff were nice and helpful. Good access to transportation. Breakfast was simple, could be more diverse. Rooms were clean. We asked for room cleaning everyday but I realised sheets were not changed. They also gave us bottled water everyday. Overall we had a good stay.
