Beautiful hotel. Wonderful, friendly accomodating staff. Breakfast luch and dinner was perfect. Very comfy bed. High quantity linen, pillows and towells. Carpet and woodwork in the room showed the age of the hotel. That needs updating. Otherwise superb.

Disappointing

I booked this room for my 17-year-old nephew—just two months shy of turning 18—and his adult companion. Upon arrival, the receptionist refused to check them in, citing his age, despite the fact that he was accompanied by an adult. This policy and the way it was enforced, was beyond appalling. We received no refund, no explanation beyond a rigid rule, and no willingness to accommodate or offer alternatives. The experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.
