At Orinon Beach, the shores and salty ocean air await. So pack some sunscreen, and take off to enjoy the water. Regrettably, the Aisia Islares is the only accomodation option within the vicinity. But really, who needs choice when you can stay a stone's throw away?

Want more options? The Parador De Limpias can be found 11 kilometres away from the downtown area, and the Hotel Palacio Torre de Ruesga is 25 kilometres away. The Gran Hotel Liber & Spa, 20 kilometres away, and the La Casa del Puente, 30 kilometres away, are some further options.

It's well known that Aussies just love to relax, so consider chilling out a little longer and going to the Berria Beach and Mount Buciero in Argonos, 17 kilometres to the west of Islares. If you'd like to stay in Argonos, look into the Hotel Rural en Escalante Las Solanas and Las Olas. 19 kilometres to the northwest of Islares you'll find Noja, which is home to the Hotel Montemar and Posada Spa Privilegio de Vara. The Almirante Luis Carrero Blanco and La Campana Museum are among the more popular sites to explore in Noja.

Get a ride 40 kilometres west and you'll come across Santander, a regional centre with a population of 180,000. While you're checking out this neck of the woods, get your tourist on at Somo Beach, Palacio de la Magdalena and Magdalena Beach. Got more time to play with? Check out the vibe at the Camello Beach and the University of Cantabria.
