Nothing to do in the village , no restaurant , one bar which was closed for holiday , good shop in the village , and bakery , nearest town 20 minutes away with everything you need , lovely house great pool , good hosts

We booked this hotel last minute and arrived around 10 PM. The owner and his family were very friendly. The hotel is close to A6 Highway, which was convenient. Although the hotel isn't large, we noticed the restaurant was bustling with guests enjoying their meals when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had already eaten, but we definitely wish we could have tried their Indian cuisine! The room was simple yet elegant. While there was no air conditioning, the room was pleasantly cool, and we didn't even need to use the fan provided. Considering the price, this hotel offers exceptional value for money. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay!

This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty of pleasant restaurants available.

Has a lovely pool area plus good outside areas to sit in.

We had a beautiful 4 night stay here as a family and loved the location on the owner’s farm. We especially enjoyed the horses! And the fireplace in the house.
