Book Isabela Island hotels

Hotel is very comfortable, nice to be in, a very good breakfast, and a caring staff. The hotel is well maintained. It was our best of 3 hotels while in the Galapagos. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Amazing! A block to the beautiful beach! Restaurants right out the door! The most delicious and beautiful breakfast on the islands included! Jose is a wonderful host, the personality here matches the beauty of Isabela. So sweet. We even enjoyed just hanging out on the front porch watching Island life. Walk to food markets, and even a local food court nearby (don’t skip the bakery, Panaderia). We didn’t want to leave Isabela or Jose’s, La Gran Tortuga!

When it comes to ocean side rooms, there is nothing like this hotel to deliver that experience. If we are ever fortunate to visit Isabela again, we certainly will book here again.

Shower does not drain, mold in shower. Insects and water in room due to poor windows. Wifi was poor but the staff fixed that, the breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful when you can find them.

So Relaxing! We spent 3 nights in the beachfront two-story, two-bedroom apartment as a family of four, including two teenagers. On one of the days, instead of exploring Galapagos, we just relaxed and did nothing — and it was so worth it! The hosts come by each morning to prepare breakfast. We just stared at the pristine beach and ocean from the comforts of our accommodations. Iguanas roamed all over the place. We saw a pair of rays playing in the surf. There are flamingos nearby. And beachfront bars and restaurants are just a couple of minutes' walk along the beach. It’s also a good base from which to make day-trips to explore Galapagos. We only wish we had spent more nights!

What an incredible experience this was! Waking up to the sea view! It's close to bars, small shops, great restaurants. The staff was amazing and so kind! Unforgettable stay! The room was clean and tidy. Some reviews here maybe forgot this is an island ;) so yes, you might have geckos in the room and if it rains heavily, water might come in. The staff will find a solution to make you feel comfortable! It's truly been an amazing stay. Highly recommend it!
