Sorry! As much as we've tried, we haven't been able to track down any places to crash in the centre of Irakleia.

However, Kilkis does have several accommodations. It's about 35 kilometres from Irakleia. Recommended hotels include the Evridiki and Victoria.

Don't skedaddle before you've gone to the Mediterranean Cosmos and Eptapyrgio in Thessaloniki. Some of our recommended Thessaloniki hotels and accommodations are the Daios Luxury Living and Excelsior Hotel. 75 kilometres to the southwest of Irakleia you'll find Chalkidona, home to the Maison Hotel and Hotel Filippos. Should you choose to stay in Chalkidona, be sure to check out the Archaeological Museum of Pella and Pella Ancient City.

Sitting 80 kilometres to the north of Irakleia is Bansko, a regional hub with a population of 9,000. It's home to some great attractions, like Bansko Ski Resort, the Pirin Golf and Country Club and Holy Trinity Church. Chapel of the Holy Virgin and House Museum of Nikola Vaptsarov are a few more which are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops. The Regnum Bansko Hotel & Spa and Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena are some great places to stay in Bansko.
