The bathroom was very tired with mouldy wallpaper and needed renovating. Bed was comfy and bedroom was spacious. Good air con and WiFi. The spa facilities were OK but Ivthought there was a swimming pool and actually it was only jacuzzi and plunge pool. Bit dark, again in need of a bit of a makeover. Steam and sauna too. Have to pay extra to use. Breakfast could do with more veggie options and some of the food had gone cold (buffet). Excellent location and lovely staff.

For its price, I like the clean and refurbished room. The hotel also offered decent breakfast to showcase Malaysia’s multicultural communities. Suggest to offer Ipoh signature food for the breakfast :)

Value for money

Tower and bed lining can be better. Pillow cases also may need to replace. Shower curtains also. Overall still good giving the price of the stay

The staff where v friendly and checked us in early. The breakfast was ok, plenty of food but only warm. The description of the property was bad. The description said we could cool off in the pool, there's no pool, only the spa which is expensive to use. Also described the property as having ocean view, we assumed Ipoh was closer to the coast as it was our first visit, definitely no ocean view!! The room was made up every day with fresh water and towels. The location was within walking distance from tourist areas and short walk to restaurant options. Good parking.

The building was beautiful, the staff were fantastic. It’s across from a park and walkable to all the town has to offer. Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm. Will stay again if we’re in town.

For the price it was okay. It was supposed to be an updated room but there wasn’t any updating for many years. While the room provided what we needed it was small and the bed was very hard. Staff were pleasant and responsive.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel breakfast was good. However, the overall hotel needs refurbishments. The room assigned to me during my stay was quite poor, especially the bathroom condition, and the air conditioning was not cold and needed servicing. On the positive side, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a one-night stay.
