If you’re heading to the Australian outback make sure you check out the Flinders Ranges in South Australia (5 hours drive from Adelaide!) I hiked in Wilpena Pound and even did a sunrise hike up Mount Ohlssen-Bagge to capture this. 💗💗
This campsite in wilpena is the best. Directly in nature, the animals near your camper or tent. Wilpena has good hikes and to relax you can take a dip in the pool of the resort!

Worth doing Skytrek self drive 4wd track if staying there. My wife enjoyed the overseer's cottage and as per previous reviews there is WiFi but only in camp kitchen a short walk away. We felt we had a better stay there than at a caravan park cabin down the road at the Pound

Located in Flinders Ranges, Rawnsley Park Station is in the mountains, within a 15-minute drive of Wilpena Pound and Arkaroo Rock.
Nice central location to explore the area. Great tasting meal at the Wool Shed Restaurant located onsite. The pool was very handy to cool down at the end of the day. Great reception and very helpful when checking in.

Good place to stay for visiting the pound. Communication about tours available in advance via communication wound be good. Signs to direct to reception for check-in would be better
